Watching kids grow has been a big part of my life. I began teaching Vacation Bible School while still in high school. That experience led to a teaching degree. I have worked in schools and church, with scouts and other groups.
Being around children keeps me in touch with the passage of time. They change. What they like in the Fall of the year, will not be the same things they enjoy by Springtime. They outgrow their clothes, their toys, and even their own thoughts. Some things, however, do not change. Often favorite foods remain the same for years or even for a lifetime. Favorite colors, I have found are changing, as are many toys and books.
The AgAnalyst has a preference for glasses.
Now, the AgAnalyst doesn't actually need glasses, she just likes them. Santa brought her this pair with clear glass lenses and she has worn them most of the time since. It is probably just a passing phase, something that she will grow out of, I suppose. After all, she is only five years old.
But we are not so sure. Three years ago, at the age of two, the AgAnalyst liked glasses. She found an old pair in Farmer Fred's office. Caked with dirt and bent out of shape, she carefully put them on.
You never know where the AgAnalyst will lead you when she is looking through lenses in GriggsDakota.
