Ripe Sunflower Fields

According to John Keats, " A thing of beauty is a joy forever."
But... A joy may not forever remain a thing of beauty.
At least in the sunflower field.
This ripe sunflower field was beautiful all Summer.
But now the lovely heads hang low as they dry in the Fall sunshine.
It makes me want to break into song:
"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen. Glory, Hallelujah!"
Damaged by wind and birds, they are seeking redemption.
And redemption will come soon in the form of a combine. These sunflowers are food grade confectionary, so will be processed into snacks.
 Oh, joyful redemption!
Soon all the fields will be empty in GriggsDakota.
