Learning to Manage the Gate

A gate is sometimes used as a metaphor these days.
It doesn't always mean "the removable area in a fence used to hold livestock, easily accessible for both opening and closing."
"Shut the gate" can mean many things. Stop spending money or stop talking.
Or I wish we could shut the gate and keep this weather for another day.
Today the AgAnalyst is learning about the gate.
It is important to learn how things are done.
The AgAnalyst likes animals. She especially likes real animals
But she also likes pictures of animals on her clothes.
She likes toy animals and books about animals.
She likes the color of animals. When I called her new corduroy pants dusty pink, she quickly informed me that her pants are the color of real pigs.
Barbed wire is not easy to handle.
But now, the AgAnalyst can open and shut the gate in GriggsDakota.
