Flowery Ditches: This and That

The ditches have been lovely.
Full of things that I don't recognize, whose petals are not on the plant.
But the plants are fascinating nonetheless.
There are the jolly haymakers in abundance in some ditches: Grasses and alfalfa
Will combine with sweet clover and other assorted things to help get the cattle through the winter.
Sometimes I wonder about botanists and how they determine plant relationships.
These look like wannabe roses.
There is no sweet scent that I detect.
The white flowers bloom in damp ditches.
Delicate blue bells bob in the wind.
 They are trumpeting the news.
Flowers are blooming in the ditches of GriggsDakota.
