On a recent evening, when the sun was shining, I found Farmer Fred in the tractor pulling the Phillips harrow.
The harrow chops the surface of the field with its rolling tines.
You can learn more about the Phillips Harrow by following this link.
Farmer Fred appeared to be scurrying around the field when his speed was nine miles per hour, but the harrow is reputed to be effective at speeds up to twelve mph.
This is another way of opening up the surface of the ground for planting.
This ground has been worked, but it is wet.
We are hoping that we can get this field seeded before another rain falls on it.
It is time, or past time, for GriggsDakota to turn green.
