We were able to get a little more seeding done over the weekend.
Progress has been slow and the weather has been wet and cold.
It is too cold to seed most crops, but the barley will do fine in these conditions.
Farmer Fred is checking to see that he has enough seed to finish the field. He will then fill and move to another until the rain begins to fall.
Conditions in the fields are marginal. This is too much mud for a secure seedbed. This drill has just been through a low spot and the conditions are slightly drier throughout most of fields we are planting.
Barley in the ground is a long way from barley in the bin, so we will keep seeding as fast as we can in GriggsDakota.
