Cleaning the House

As everyone with a home can attest, nothing stays clean if you use it.
And so it is at our house
Alright, so it's really a farm shop with an asphalt floor that needs sweeping.
The daily parade in and out of farm machinery ensures a dirty floor, so when the machines are in the field, it's time to sweep. The guys like to call it sweeping the house.
The like to declare that they are in the house
They prefer to swap out their brooms for basketballs that are on the floor.
 In the house.
The dirt in the house can wait for a little longer.
Right now, they are in the house which is really just the farm shop in GriggsDakota.

Well that is ok, the balls were in the way and had to be moved, hahaha. Make sure they do not have a air leak. besides all the bending over to sweep the back gets tired and needs to be stretched, right?
Hi, I am Sharon Drake, my Husband is Harry. We live south of Wichita, Ks. about 60 miles. 15 miles north of the Oklahoma line. We have had a LOT of rain July and August. The weatherman said we had 20 inches total. That makes up for the last 3 years of very little rain. Some had dry ponds and sold a lot of their cattle herd due to no or very little water and grass. The rain we just had has made a hugh difference in everything.Western ks. still has not had enough rain.
Anyway just want to say Hi. and enjoy reading your daily activities. Liked the pictures from last year at the cemetery. That is neat that the first land owners , her name was Jane and if I read right your name is Jane. Cool.Be careful and stay safe. We are farm kids and age 66 have not farmed for sometime, still enjoy all that goes with it. Sharon and Harry Drake Aug. 23,2013
