Half Gone Summertime

This is a week that makes me just a little sad.
I clearly remember my grandfather saying,
"Yah, when you get to the Fourth of July, you know Summer is half gone."
I was shocked. I didn't want to believe it was true. I didn't want to go back to school.
Every farmer is in some way preparing for the change of season.
We will try to enjoy our Summer flowers.
Although, after being blown about it the wind, they open imperfectly.
My daughter told me that featuring something imperfect is just fine.
It proclaims
"I know this is imperfect, but it is still beautiful."
And so it is with everything in this life.
We are able to find beauty, despite imperfection.
However, it is easiest to find beauty in GriggsDakota during the Summertime.
