Easter came in the snow.
The weather has been beautiful for January.
Today, I suppose we are April Fools.
There have been foggy mornings.
If we get sun, the fog burns off.
The fog goes away, even when the day remains cloudy.
The deer on the hill were much like church on Easter Sunday.
A few began to trickle in.
Soon, it was a full hilltop (or house if you were in church).
I have wedding on the brain, and this aisle reminded me that a wedding will be the next family gathering.
I don't know if we have ever had such magnificent hoar frost.
It was gently wafting down as I stopped to take photos. It was in large globs of delicate flakes that were so light they floated to the ground like feathers.
It looked like a movie set.
I found myself wishing for a picnic basket with a thermos of hot coffee.
It seemed that I could enjoy the day in the trees.
But it was very cold.
The sun was not going to bring much heat today.
Can you see how thick the coating is on every branch?
Although the hoar frost is impressive,
I am hoping for buds on the branches in GriggsDakota.
