July Farmer Fred Award: Men Go Shopping

In farm families shopping is an ongoing joke. It takes commitment to stock a farm with necessary supplies and equipment. Online shopping has made life easier in some areas and we have faithful businesses in the area that order in what we need. Because it is both home and business and is located away from towns or cities, it takes a trip to shop for a farm.
The July Farmer Fred Award is presented to:
"Men Go Shopping"
Do men like shopping? Of course they do! The men in this family are especially fond of shopping for beautiful metal baubles.
There are no sparkly stones or quietly carpeted glass cases, we're talking steel.
Farmer Fred recently stopped at an area farm to check out a used Concord Air Till Drill.
The boys were helpful and determined to point out the many advantages the newer model offers.
On the way home we made a stop at the town named after our favorite grandson.
Is Hunter named for Hunter? Or was that the other way around?
It reminded Robbie of the time that we made him stand by the sign in Roberts, Montana...
And the stories continue in GriggsDakota.

  1. Love the photos. Farming = Expensive shopping!

  2. I like the idea of you guys shopping. LOL. What do you do before you shop for metal? And is it a monthly thing too?

  3. I will tell to my friends to read your posts. It is just awesome to my social shopping and I love to learn extra information on this topic. Thank you so much.
