The geese have left GriggsDakota.
But it was fun to see that there were geese hanging around just an hour South of here.
They were gleaning from a field near a town.
They weren't exactly afraid of me and my vehicle parked on the side of the road.
However, the geese were cautious and seemed to want to be left alone.
I can't blame them. It is still goose hunting season up here.
The geese haven't read the rules about not hunting near houses or towns, but have found a safe place to hang out anyway.
So I don't think any of these hungry waterfowl will be cooked for Christmas dinner.
There is a dam nearby where the water was still open over the weekend when these photos were taken.
By now the geese may have made their way a little further South.
We have received a blast of cold from the NorthWest along with a little snow.
It's December in GriggsDakota.
