When the Ordinary becomes Extraordinary

The world in GriggsDakota is coated with ice.
Snow fell on top of the ice and the geese decided to leave us.
The cat would not have minded hitching a ride South.
The bright sun cast intricate shadows on the pure white ground.
The ice itself seemed like a shadow on the branches.
It's cold out here.
But everything is sparkly.
The drab trees look like they belong outside of the Santa Claus residence.
The formations of ice on the ground are dusted with delicate snowflakes.
The yard could be the Seven Dwarfs diamond mine.
It is amazing that the power didn't go out during this storm.
When trees look like this, power lines are also coated with ice and vulnerable.
But the lights stayed on in GriggsDakota.
