Cattle are still enjoying a choice of corn or barley stubble. The rain settled the snow, so they are having no trouble finding food on the stubble.
The temperatures moderated, so no ice on the roads and much less snow than earlier in the week.
There are hay bales out for these cattle, but they are not interested. Now that the snow has melted, they are roaming around with their noses to the ground.
They prefer the green ground, as long as it is available. There were many on the corn ground, behind a hill out of the wind.
We are enjoying a short, but very sweet "heat wave" in GriggsDakota.
