Corn is Shivering

 I was disappointed when I saw the corn.

 The sun was shining.

But the corn looked cold and tired.

 The corn is usually the star of the show around here. 

The cold windy weather had slowed down its performance this week.

These plants flourish in hot humid conditions.

There were pinecones being blown off the lone spruce tree and bombing the little plants.

Recent rains have improved our soil moisture.

Hot days are on their way.
