In many places Spring is in full bloom.
In GriggsDakota we are still looking at early signs.
After a March full of early promise, the weather has settled down to average.
A quick look around makes it difficult to decide what season it is.
But when you are here, you can hear the birds sing.
You can smell the earth's promise of new life.
Although rain has been falling and a cold wind has been blowing,
It's a perfect Spring morning in GriggsDakota.
This Canada goose looked like a rock or a dead animal until it raised its head to see me. They have started to nest in the open. We believe it is so that coyotes can't sneak up on them in the brush.
I made the deer nervous and they dashed off the trail to the right.
I'm better a photographing still life, as long as it's not too windy.
