A Little Snow for the Snow Fence

Winter usually has a say about November in GriggsDakota.
So, the snow fence is no longer lounging in the grass.
It has been installed to help reduce snow on the road where we load grain.
It is up off the ground about a foot to make it seem taller. Ground drifting isn't what we're interested in affecting. We want to slow down the heavy drifting from our prevailing Northwest wind.
There's a nice opening in the middle to allow non-jumping wildlife to pass through.
Ready for Winter for Winter is here, ready or not.

  1. They use a similar setup in Alaska to make use of borders between properties. Most fences are erected on top of the snow.
