Even Mud Looks Better in Sunshine

The sun is shining and the grass is green.
So Farmer Fred is happy despite the dried mud on the Concord Air Till Drill that he has been using to deep band fertilizer onto our corn ground.
When he parked this, it was raining.
The good news is that it didn't rain enough to wash the mud off.
The end of each hose that carries the fertilizer from the tank to the ground is attached near the center of each shovel.
Farmer Fred checks the machine over. Notice the hose opening on the right side of the photo above is partially blocked with mud.
The dried mud falls off easily when Farmer Fred scrapes it away.
He works around the Concord to check that things are properly set.
Then goes to the field
Where corn planting is just getting started. Late Spring, but planting. We are working as fast as we can in GriggsDakota.
