Last week we thought we were on our way to field work.
We had our drills out of the snow drifts. We thought the snow drifts would soon be just a memory.
We were wrong.
After tromping around GriggsDakota and listening to area snow totals, I believe we received a foot of snow.
Despite the setback, the birds are singing.
The little plants indoors
Are doing much better than the brave outdoor bulbs that have popped through.
Winter has again taken over.
Yet the bird's song of Spring continues.
Through the window
the birds look cold
Yet the Springtime serenade continues.
As long as the birds keep singing, we'll be fine in GriggsDakota.
