Snow Fence Still on Duty

Week after week through our long Winter of weather
We are never far away from the thought of another farming season
There has been more snow than our snow fence could hold.
We have had a breath of thawing temperatures this week and our minds are back in the fields.
There are piles and drifts of snow everywhere.
And we are still delivering grain to the elevators from last season.
It's just a breath of thawing that will barely begin our snowmelt before we freeze up again.
Just enough to remind us of the infamous GriggsDakota "Season of Mud" that will follow and it brings a smile to Farmer Fred.

  1. ahh the loved/hated season of mud. I hope this year it is quick like last spring. Those ND winds should dry you up in no time (once the snow is gone).
