How to: Make Pretzel Ring Cookies

Buy a bag of pretzel rings. These are available during November and December in GriggsDakota and I assume everywhere.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, then pretzel rings.
Unwrap miniature peanut butter cups, then remove the paper cup
and set a peanut butter cup into each ring.
Or unwrap Hershey Kisses
And set a Hershey Kiss into each ring.
Place the pan into a preheated oven set at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
And bake for two minutes.
When you remove the pan from the oven, tap it on the counter three times while holding the pan firmly on each end. This is a very important step as it forces the melted chocolate out to the pretzel. The pretzel acts as a fence and forms a nice little cookie. Let stand until cool. This will take several hours or overnight. I speed the process with a few minutes in the freezer.
The tops can be decorated with a peanut, bit of candy cane or an M&M while still warm. These are always a popular treat in GriggsDakota.
