An Alberta Clipper clipped us over the weekend.
In Griggs Dakota we have winter.
The geese that valiantly kept the lakes open have flown away. Our weather remained unseasonably warm though last week. There is a very thin layer of ice on the ponds, topped with a two inch layer of snow.
The Farm Inspector reminded her BFF that snow is a great beginning for winter protection of our fields. Plus, the sparkles are very pretty.
Her assistant agreed to pull the sled, so the Inspector could look things over.
