Now that the small grain harvest is done, we have another issue looming in Greater Dakota.
What will we do with the late crops?
Recent rains have made things look good out there and we are optimists.
There is real concern that area elevators will fill up quickly and the trains
and trucks will not be able to haul it out quickly enough to keep up with later harvest.
In Griggsdakota we are evaluating every storage location,
Storing grain wherever we can,
Hauling all we can directly from the field to the elevators
& Considering new construction of storage facilities.
Many elevators are already full.
We will deal with a bin buster if the day arrives.
