Weedy Barley

We have had plenty of moisture for the barley to emerge into a lush row of green.
However, between the rows and barley plants, there are weeds competing for moisture and nutrients.
Wild oats and mustard will grow quickly.
Wild buckwheat and other weeds will ruin this crop if left untreated.
A  herbicide formula has been recommended by our agronomist.
It will be applied to the barley as soon as the ground is dry enough to hold up the sprayer.
The area between the rows of barley must be free of weeds in order for the barley to thrive. The grain must be free of weed seed when it is harvested. Quick action now is required in order to rescue this crop.
