Time is money. Mileage is expensive. We live in a remote location. But the Internet has brought the world to us and simplified things in many ways. Here is an example: Our Phillips Harrow is in need of parts to make repairs. The dealership is many miles away. Farmer Fred calls to discuss the problem. We then take photos.
The rim has four bolts. We need a four bolt hub.
The socket on the hub assembly that drives the harrow is wearing thin and needs to be replaced. Farmer Fred emailed these photos to the dealership. He then called to discuss the specifics with the parts technician who identifies what is needed and orders the parts from their supplier in Georgia. Through electronic means, everyone is paid and the parts will ship directly to us in GriggsDakota. We expect them to arrive in just a couple of days.
