Winter is hanging on in GriggsDakota and we have decided it is a good time to brighten up the old farmhouse by painting some bedrooms. Our friend Cheryl who was planting flowers in the Aneta Park last June is now keeping busy indoors.
The decor that was perfect for the boys in the seventies is being torn up, tossed out, and painted over. The floors underneath are maple, so we are planning to use area rugs.
The walls are a soft dove gray with white woodwork.
Next, Cheryl will move to the hallway
Then on to this lovely pink room that was last painted for me when I was a child. It will be a very soft blue with white trim. Thanks to our friends at Pinke Lumber in Wishek for the great service in selecting paint. I don't know when the weather will improve, but paint is helping to brighten things up in GriggsDakota.
