Winter Wheat Field

Above:  The barley stubble had an opportunity to do its job in October this year and we are pleased to report that it is holding snow very well.
Above:  Though the winter wheat plants did not have time to emerge, with the snow covering the field and heat in the ground, it is probably safe and warm.
Above:  We are expecting to get temperatures back up to normal in the next few days which will be good news for this field.
Above:  The ever changing and unpredictable weather is a topic of coffee conversations in every cafe for miles around GriggsDakota and has been for over 100 years.
